Roger Knowlton, tells him that his mother is alive and is working for 'The Company' in the Madagascar Rainforest. He wants to They try to find a clue for the key from the fake buyer who killed Gretchen.

They find a Church and an Estate that matches with key. When Lincoln and Mahone investigate the Estate, Lincoln finds a picture of him with his mother.

After successfully transcribing the fourth card at an L. T-Bag, as it happens, is doing the bidding of Gretchen, who made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

While Pad Man lays out the Company's next gambit to his underlings, Lincoln reaches into his past for a way to gain access to the final card, which is in Pad Man's possession, and Michael and Self have a meeting with their colleague-to-be: Gretchen.

Meanwhile, Roland seethes at the treatment he has gotten from the gang since he lost the transcribing device in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, Gretchen has a meeting with Pad Man; Wyatt has a proposal for Sara which Self records and Mahone waits for his turn with the Company hit man.

Gretchen gives Michael the rest of the bird book, but he suffers another seizure after deciphering it, so the others must carry out his two-pronged plan: one leading back to the basement, the other to an architect named David Allen Baker Keith Szarabajka.

Meanwhile, Pad Man goes forward with his plan to move Scylla, and Self is told by an influential senator that the deal Homeland Security made with the gang is "off the table.

It bears no resemblance to the show I started watching four years ago. But it was amusing if not always intentionally , and the fans who stuck it out all the way through will get plenty of closure.

Fans who preferred the show's more subtle nuances may find events folding together a little too neatly, but on the whole the finale serves the characters well.

The closing story became too convoluted with twists, turns and the reappearance of old characters. It's all so much treading water, solely to get to some sort of grand finale that makes sense, as if anything could.

It's another rollercoaster ride for these memorable characters, and season four gives you the chance to say goodbye to some very compelling personalities.

Somewhat staggeringly, this horse had one last race left in its creaking legs and saved it for the feature length-finale. Prison Break bowed out in fine style, wrapping up the tale of two brothers and leaving a lump in the throat.

Basically, the series -- which could have stayed cute, quirky and loveable -- slowly sinks and drowns under the weight of its own shoddy and convoluted plotting.

There is an intensity behind the series that makes it difficult to stop watching. And, with this being the final season, the story is wrapped up somewhat nicely in the end.
