Title: We're the Millers After being robbed of a week's take, small-time pot dealer David is forced by his boss to go to Mexico to pick up a load of marijuana.

In order to improve his odds of making it past the border, David asks the broke stripper Rose and two local teenagers to join him and pretend they're on a family holiday.

Written by Peter Brandt Nielsen. Jennifer Aniston plays a stripper in this movie. I think that's all that needs to be said here.

To do this, David assembles a fake family bearing the last name Miller to cross the border without suspicion. When watching the movie you're going to be able to tell what's gonna happen next as far as the progression of emotion between the characters.

The classic at first they don't get along, then they start to have fun, then they find out something about one of the characters that upsets them, yada yada yada.

You know the drill. But I'm very lenient with comedies because they have one job: to make me laugh and We're The Millers, for the most part, does its job successfully.

This is a very dumb comedy. There is no joke that takes any thought to figure out, but the movie never seems full of itself. It's very self aware and doesn't try to be something it's not.

That being said, I don't know if I would have liked the movie as much if it wasn't for the cast, particularly Sudeikis and Poulter.

Sudeikis just has a natural charm to him and he delivers lines that aren't actually that great in ways that make them funny Also he's engaged to Olivia Wilde, so good on him.

Poulter has the perfect face for this role. I almost feel bad for saying it but his character was hilarious just because he's such a dorky looking guy.

Aniston and Roberts do what they can with what they're given in the script but neither of them really did anything that stood out to me Except for a scene that was actually rather uncomfortable after Kenny attempts to flirt with a girl.

Also, Nick Offerman is in the movie for a little bit and has a really awesome scene involving a mug. None of the other actors really do anything worth mentioning, which sucks because Ed Helms is in this movie and nothing with him made me laugh due to the unfortunately weak script.

Really it's the actors that made this movie likable, and the fact that the b-reel during the credits of the movie is funnier than most of the actual movie backs that up.

What you see in the trailer for the movie is basically exactly what you get: A pretty enjoyable comedy, although nothing remarkable.

Speaking of the trailer, it actually gives a lot of the best laughs away as most trailers do so if you haven't seen it or you don't really remember it, don't watch it!

Official Sites. Company Credits. The plot follows a small-time pot dealer Sudeikis who convinces his neighbors to help him by pretending to be his family, in order to smuggle drugs from Mexico into the United States.

In New Line Cinema said a sequel was in development. A low-level marijuana dealer David Clark living in Denver is robbed of his money and stash, some of which he owes to his wealthy drug supplier, Brad Gurdlinger.

After David is brought to him, Gurdlinger forces him to smuggle marijuana from Mexico as a solution to clear his debt.

Realizing that one man attempting to get through customs is too suspicious, he hires a stripper neighbor stage-named Rose, a runaway year-old petty thief named Casey, and his year-old neighbor Kenny to pose as a bogus family called the "Millers".

When the Millers reach the compound, they find out that the amount of marijuana they were picking up is not "a smidge" as Gurdlinger had informed them, but actually two tons.

Because of the extra load of the marijuana on the RV, one of the radiator hoses breaks while going up a steep incline.

A family they had encountered at the border called the Fitzgeralds, consisting of Don, Edie, and Melissa, catch up to them and tow the Millers' RV to a repair shop.

On the trip to the shop, David learns that Don Fitzgerald is a DEA agent after finding his badge and gun in the glove compartment.

The marijuana turns out to be stolen from Pablo Chacon's cartel where Gurdlinger had David pose as an agent of Chacon.

The next day, when the Millers head to the shop to pick up the RV, Chacon and his henchman, One-Eye, are waiting for them and prepare to execute the family.

They immediately tell Chacon that they aren't a real family and that they didn't know they were stealing from him. Rose is given a chance to prove that she is a stripper by dancing, and when she gets close, turns a steam vent onto Chacon.

The Millers then escape in the RV, with Kenny behind the wheel. Due to Kenny's erratic driving, the RV veers off the highway and a tarantula, hiding in a bowl of fruit given to them when they picked up the marijuana, crawls up Kenny's leg and bites his testicle.

As Kenny has a severe allergic reaction to the bite, the Millers head to the hospital. When Kenny is finally released, David rushes him to the RV in a wheelchair and accidentally tips him over.

In the ensuing argument, David inadvertently reveals how much he is getting paid, in comparison to how little he offered to pay each of the others.

Casey, Rose, and Kenny are left in disgust by the revelation, and so David leaves them at the local carnival. Shortly after leaving, David regrets abandoning them after hearing "Waterfalls" by TLC on the radio and returns to the carnival, begging them to come back with him.

On their way to the RV, they encounter Edie and Melissa. One-Eye discovers them and is about to shoot everyone, but Don comes out of his camper and subdues him.

Chacon then comes around the corner with Melissa held at gunpoint and is about to kill them all, but is momentarily distracted by the 4th of July fireworks.

David and Kenny subdue him. Don arrests Chacon, but lets the Millers leave. David delivers the drugs to Gurdlinger, who tells him he's late and that their deal is off, but then admits that he had never intended to pay at all.

DEA agents crash into the room, arresting Gurdlinger. The agent in charge is Don who tells David that he will have to be in the witness protection program until the trial of Gurdlinger and Chacon.

He then adds that anyone that was a witness to the crime will be in protection and David smiles. The Millers are then seen together in a suburban house, with several marijuana plants growing in the garden.

It's an even more revealing movie moment since Aniston has avoided such edgy terrain and also because Hollywood usually opts to have someone half her age to film those kind of scenes.

Aniston says no research was necessary owing to her own youthful exploits. But when it came to actually shooting the sequence she was overcome with nerves.

But you've got to go to work. The show must go on! There was a big Smart Water truck outside! Aniston insists the part of a curvaceous pole-dancer took an extreme physical toll.

When I finished that job I pretty much didn't go to the gym for I don't know how many months. I was over it and like, 'OK, that's enough of that!

The reception for We're the Millers' subversive take on the notion of American family has been positive by the standards of what has so far been an underwhelming summer for Hollywood blockbusters.

It's fair to say critics haven't been happily surprised with much of Aniston's cinematic work. One can only wonder what the result would have been had Aniston pursued a career in theatre, like her Friends co-star David Schwimmer, and re-teamed with Hytner for a stint at the South Bank.

For all its considerable success, Friends placed its six stars in something of a creative straitjacket. There's even an allusion to this during the end credits of We're The Millers that shows outtakes from the film.

Aniston's reservations about Hollywood saving the great comedy roles for men are well-established, so why is she continually drawn to comedy?

Comedies are something more fun. It's what parts come to me. I tend to gravitate towards comedies because they feel good. I ask her if another reason for this might be that comedies make it easier for her to laugh at the shrill tabloid version of her life that prevails.

She insists not. Now when asked about the prospect of having a family, Aniston adopts a more cautious line, hinting that her childhood has already resulted in her assuming parental responsibilities.

We are each other's mothers, sisters, girlfriends, everything. Because a lot of us had not the most fabulous parental experiences in our own lives, we learnt our own parental techniques and we took care.

We family each other and so it's an instinct I've had for many, many years. Intriguingly Rawson Marshall Thurber, the director of We're the Millers, tells me Aniston reminds him of Sienna Miller, whom he directed in his previous film, an ill-fated adaptation of Michael Chabon's literary novel The Mysteries of Pittsburgh that remains unreleased in the UK.

For lack of a better term they're both 'one of the guys'. She is often pictured by the paparazzi on holiday in the tropical resort of Cabo San Lucas, located at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, with friends who have included Emily Blunt and US chat show host Chelsea Handler.

And who doesn't love Mexican food?

Sometimes the two Anistons converge. At the New York premiere of We're the Millers two days before I meet Aniston, 44, at a hotel in downtown Manhattan, erroneous pregnancy rumours were once again sparked by Aniston's supposedly rounder figure.

The day after the interview, a picture of Aniston without her make-up that appeared on Instagram provoked hysteria among the blogosphere.

Aniston radiates calmness in person, acting as though she's oblivious to the fuss that surrounds her but wary of saying anything that would start a fresh bonfire of inanity.

Questions about Theroux are off-limits for our interview although she recently told E! There have been no cancelled weddings.

There have been no postponed weddings. There have been no arguments about where to get married. Yet We're The Millers, a sly, sprawling comedy about a deadbeat drug-pusher played by comedian Jason Sudeikis who joins Aniston's stripper Rose and two youngsters Emma Roberts and Will Poulter who pose as a fake family to drive a camper van to Mexico and profit from shipping marijuana back into America, will hardly diminish Aniston's allure in the eyes of the tabloids that she claims to find tiresome.
